Amazon stock jumped after the e-commerce and cloud-computing giant reported second-quarter results. Cloud growth for Amazon reached a more than four-year high as the company touted progress in offering custom AI chips and services to enterprises. The earnings number was helped by pretax gains on Amazon's investment in the AI startup Anthropic, Amazon said.
