All three of the major averages (^DJI, ^IXIC, ^GSPC) ended Friday's session in positive territory — the Dow Jones Industrial Average leading the way and rising 294 points — managing to close out the trading week with gains. This comes after Nvidia (NVDA) reported first quarter earnings results that beat estimates, but ultimately failed to wow Wall Street investors.
